Loved by over 1,000 players
I switched from my current “faithful” paddle to the Golden Classic and it was like giving up my scooter for a Harley! It took me a minute to get used to this thunderous paddle, but once I did, I realized that the Golden Classic Pickleball paddle is designed for anyone wanting to power-up their game.
Dont see myself ever having to upgrade, this is it.
Love this paddle, it’s lightweight and gives great spin control. I highly recommend it for any level player!
Winning all my matches with these beauties!
At first I was not so happy with the paddle. The first two/three times I used the paddle I was getting ready for a tournament and was not happy with the feel of the shorter grip. After the tournament my female partner wanted to switch to a different paddle so I let her use my the paddle I was playing with and I again tried the Golden paddle. After a couple more "fun" games I was started to adjust to the shorter grip(handle). I now like and recommend it. I will be using the Golden paddle in my next tournament (it will this next weekend). I will suggest to anyone trying this paddle to disregard their first impression and give the paddle a good solid try, they may be surprised on how well it may be.
Short handle and I like the feel of my previous paddle. Coming up short on hits length wise. Cuts are better see no other advantage.
They say its not the paddle, its the player but I am loving how this paddle has improve my game. I generate much better spin with this than my previous paddle. The size and subtle surface texture is just "Golden".
My wife and I just took up pickleball in the spring of 2020. As a tennis player, I found the game relatively simple to playalmost immediately at the intermediate level, but she is still at the beginner's level. I was drawn to the Golden Classic for a larger sweet spot for her and for more spin on my slice. It seems to fit the bill on both. I was immediately pleased to see that my slice serve was breaking at least twice as much as it was previously. We also got two unexpected bonuses. With the slightly heavier paddle, my wife's backhand shots were going deeper. Similarly, I found that my overheads just crushed the ball, making it virtually impossible for any opponent to return. Overall, our first impressions were excellent. The only reason I hesitate to rate it five stars is that we have not played with the paddles long enough to know if they are durable - the jury is still out on that. If they last, then this deserves a five star rating.
So far so good.
